Loads of Plod

On Harewood straight yesterday around 4pm...

Was heading along towards Collingham from Harewood and was passed by about 10 bikes about 10s apart, then a van, then another 10 bikes all spread out, then another couple of vans, oh and a Volvo plod in amongst them too...

Was nice to see a few plod out of course, but they need to learn to spread out

Anyone know what they were upto? I thought prisoner transfer maybe?

Not sure if it is related, but West Yorks Police are coordinating the policing for the round-Britain cycle race this year and there have been dozens of Motorcycloplods at the Police training centre over the last few days. There was a photo in the Yorkshire Post of a few dozen of em.
