I was wondering... does anyone have an Elise in the area who fancies taking me out for a spin hehe
Cheeky question I know, but it's on my shortlist at the moment, and would love to experience one and talk to an expert in what it's like to own one?

I've got a VX220, the same chassis to the elise but a better enginebiggrin

If your coming to the Pub meet this month I'll take you for a spin, if not I'll probably be in sheffield at the end of the month visiting friends.

Hi Anna. I'd be delighted to take you out for a spin in my Elise (S1). I'll be at the next meet at the Railway if you can make it.

It doesnt sit at home very much! The CSi will be my daily mode of transport after next week so much fun will be had by all yes
If I could bring both, I would! Oh, and if it rains, the Elise will stay tucked up warm and the 850 will stretch its legs.

What are you doing to the Ci to warrant using the CSi every day?

At this stage, I''m doing nothing at all to my Ci. I'm quite busy sorting out a lovely Mauritius Blue 850 that is in about 600 pieces..... hehe
Once i've finished that, I'll be changing my Ci's suspension, making it perfect and preparing it to sell frown
I just want to use the CSi because it is utterly brilliant, it needs a shake down after its rebuild and driving it is one of those experiences that falls into the 'most fun you can have with your clothes still on' category yes

Less than two weeks......
Good god, man. These cars have more systems to reset/reboot/rebuild than the Star Ship Enterprise!
It'll have an engine. It'll have a gearbox. It'll have brakes. It'll have suspension and it'll have a lovely interior. Other than that, god knows whether anything else will be working by then. I've got 9.5 miles of wire to check first....... it may not have warp drive and the di-lithium crystals will need time to bed in. Patience is needed, I'm afraid.

what Talkwrench really said:
It'll have a chipped engine. It'll have a chipped gearbox. It'll have braided and racing fluid upgraded brakes. It'll have uprated, stiffened and lowered suspension and it'll have a lovely interior.
like I said whistle
