Hi Al, good picture.

I know what you mean....I think he was to scared to take it out in the rain. He hasn't had it long and not driven more than 50 miles in it upto now, so many people have told him how he needs to treat it with respect it may bite, I think he's scared of it.

But aren't the bew F430's supposed to have fantastic traction control systems if you're worried about stuff like that? I hope there's not a perfectly good car going to waste there? Ive driven my mates Griffith in the rain plenty of times, and its not that scary as long as you dont quite stamp on the throttle in the same way.

Popular myth - Certain cars without driver aids bite.

Truth - Said peolpe who perpetuate the afore mentioned myth may have, from time to time, driven with heads up back sides and blamed man-eating, evil-handling, widow-making car when it all went wrong.

edited to say - not intended as a pop at anyone in particular, just an observation..

I remember all the horror stories when i was looking for the 911, of unexpected exits tail first through the hedgerow ... in reality it was probably the most sure footed superb handling car I have ever driven.

Great cars Al. I spent a great deal of yesterday, during some senic tourist driving, looking at them in my mirror, then very shortly after looking at their brakelights. smile
