I have. They do Merc and BMW. They are expensive.
I ended up taking my 535 into BMW Almondbury, despite the fact I work 200 yards from Delacys.
My limited experience of the official vs indie service scene is that indies are not that much cheaper than the official centres.
I assume they buy the service bits from official centres (and get a little discount of course) to keep any warranty valid on a car, so surely only their labour rate can be cheaper? I do agree of course for stuff like discs / pads they should be much cheaper since they would buy the OE brake parts from a factoring company and not the offical centre.
I think the main thing with indies is that you hopefully get people working on your car that are actually interested and care, and any savings are an added bonus?!

If it's any help, there's an excellent independent in Leeds who do (separately) BMW and Merc servicing. Called BMW-Care and Mercedes-Care respectively.
Their labour is about 1/2 the main dealer rates. You can talk directly to the mechanic/bosses, which in my book is the gold standard for car maintenance.
I've used them for 24months and 45k miles on my 2002 BMW so far and they are top notch. Courtesy cars available and just off the Leeds Ring road on your side of the city in Stanningley, Grangefield Ind Estate.

I've used the BMW side of the operation for a service and MOT (and another service coming up next week). No problems to report and they were recommended to me by folk on here. If the Merc side is the same then I wouldn't have any complaints.Their labour is about 1/2 the main dealer rates. Yup Im with Doc on Merc-care. Fantastic and very knowledgable guys. Also good to see what they all drive (BMW's and Mercs)
Its in Pudsey on an industrial estate, cann't remember the name
A lot used to work for mercedes "back in the day". So rather than getting th trained chimps that you currently seem to get in dealerships they know about cars.
