Go Karting Event at PPIK in leeds.
Discussion
Right guys, how would you fancy putting your money where your mouths are and we all have a PH Go Kart to find out who is the champion of champions, the king of kings and the daddy when it comes to all things on 4 wheels!!... ok so im a little excited!!
here is the website containing everything you should need to know...
www.ppik.net
Ive been here before and it was a blast, the karts are pretty quick, the track is large(complete with bridge and tunnel!) and when compared to other locations its pretty competatively priced.(in a, you get what you pay for sense)...
I propose we do an Iron Man 50 which consists of the following format...
All drivers get a 10 minute qualifying session to get used to the circuit and clock up their fastest lap. Drivers are then lined up and set off for a 50 minute race. The driver with the most laps at the end will win! Trophy & Bubbly for the winning driver.
To do the IM50 we need a minimum of 12 drivers(no problem id of thought) upto a maximum of 18 drivers. It costs £45 for this.
30 and 40 minute iron mans are also available. at £35 and £40 respectively.
Im assuming a weekend is everyones preference so for arguments sake (totally negotiable for any time AFTER this date) lets put a provisional date of Saturday 27th October in our calenders.

Assuming that the 27th October is the confirmed date then I'm in for this.
If its the 27th of October that clashes with the PH at the Globe meet and run out
Bloody slow connections...
What I said was meets are like buses. I get the chance to only manage 2 a year then 2 come along at once.
We could do karting mid morning as the Globe meet is at 3pm

midweek was a thought i had but its difficult for people from other than the local area to come and i dont want to inadvertantly exclude them from being able to come. 3rd novemeber sounds like a go-er so far...(gosh octobers a busy one aint it!!)

16 November is RAC rally which starts at Eland Road this year.
Why not have it an evening midweek?
My weekends are all booked up just about.
Just a suggestion

I know that after the Pistonheads Globe meet there will be a PH Pissup at the Globe too, but I need to work on available dates for that
