Afternoon All,
I’ve just accepted a new position, which comes with a company vehicle. I need the following criteria:
Diesel
Estate
Classy
Sunroof
Plenty of rear legroom
Comfortable
Quick
Under £30k
I’m leaving a V50 Volvo which I’ve really enjoyed, but would like a change.
Your thoughts & ideas please.

Are you limited by a choice of pool cars or any on the open market?I’ve just accepted a new position, which comes with a company vehicle. I need the following criteria:

Unlimited choice!I was thinking about a M-B C class estate sport edition.
Audi RS6 Avant...although its not a diiseasel, it would make one hell of a company car

How about a BMW 530d ///M Sport Touring??
Spacious, diesel, 42mpg, plenty of get up and go and fairly good looking
Tell you what though Mark, if you can get a demonstrator ... that Jeep of Vicki's is bloody gorgeous.
Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland - 3L diesel (Merc 6) - fully loaded with leather/alcantara complete with flip-down DVD in the back.
List price is about £34,500 ... we got a 5 month old one that one of their managers had been using for £27,000.
Bloody bargain and we absolutely love it ... it shifts a bit too but the handling does leave something to be desired

Hmm, I have to say I was quite impressed when I saw it.Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland - 3L diesel (Merc 6) - fully loaded with leather/alcantara complete with flip-down DVD in the back.

I think I want to stay away from the 4x4 market though.
ATM it's a decision between the Audi Avant Quattro 3.0, or the MB Sport C220.

Yes but whats the fuel consumption like on it? A friend of ours has one and he gets 19mpg. I had a Grand Voyager and got 23mpg both diesels.Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland - 3L diesel (Merc 6) - fully loaded with leather/alcantara complete with flip-down DVD in the back.

Classy is the tricky bit.
The Chrysler thingy - oh, I don't think so.....!
I reckon it has to be the Audi. Mercs just don't build cars with decent materials these days.
The Audi is the subtle, classy, extremely well built car that perhaps won't get the blood racing or make you tingle but will always get you quickly and quietly to wherever you want to go in comfort and calm whilst impressing those who need to be impressed by your sound judgement.
