Those days of selecting a figure from the sky and popping it in a quote
Tell me about it - just had a quote for a new patio. Those days of selecting a figure from the sky and popping it in a quote

£25/sq m for the stone & £50/sq m to lay it (Thats the winter price sir, in summer it's £60)
I've 160sq m to lay

Looks like I'm gonna be busy.....
You see, when we go to college to learn our trades, part of the training consists of sucking air through our teeth, looks of concern and sympathy with lots if top side arithmetic calculations and most importantly Olympic style training in the art of tea drinking and biscuit eating.
You’d be amazed what difference a good tea spot will make to the job, if you feed and water the tradesman, you usually get a better job, more respect and things thrown in for free. A bad tea spot usually results in a rush to move on.
