THIS POSTING IS TO ADVISE ALL YORKIES THAT THERE IS NOW AN 'EAST YORKSHIRE TVRCC REGION'
STEVE JOHNSON CAN BE THANKED FOR ORGANISING THIS. IN THE PAST HE HAS ATTENDED VARIOUS YORKSHIRE REGIONS, ALL WERE A GOOD DISTANCE FROM THE HULL AREA.
EAST YORKS MEETINGS WILL TAKE PLACE ON THE 3rd THURSDAY 7.30 ONWARDS AT:-
THE HALF MOON, MAIN STREET, ELLOUGHTON, BROUGH, HULL.
STEVE HAS ALREADY HAD A COUPLE OF INFORMAL MEETINGS AND GOT PLENTY INTEREST.

There always was an East Yorks meeting. The fact that you took it to the rougher side of Yorkshire and continued to call it the East Yorks meeting chanaged nothing. I wish Steve all the best, he has graced our meets when ever his spare time allowed him to, he is a great guy and I hope he can still find the time to still come to our South-yorks meets, he will have to get to grips with the internet now though, is he on Pistonheads yet.

Why name it after a defunct, badly thought out and widely reviled Council area name?Soz John ... Yorkshire has three Ridings ... the one I live in always has been and always will be the "East"

I was at last months meeting and looking forward to next weeks meeting.
I'll be at Sundays North Yorkshire meeting
and I'll be at the next Yorkshire and Humberside meeting too
The more the merrier
Daftlad - If the proposed East Yorkshire area is already covered by the Yorkshire and Humberside region, then surely so are North Yorkshire, South Yorkshire and West Yorkshire!

I'll explain on Sunday when we discuss your motorsport career, but my first post was tongue in cheek - sort of, but historically corect and goes back to events in the last century. I honestly dont give a toss who calls what what anymore, another meeting to attend will be fine.I'll be at Sundays North Yorkshire meeting
