First stage is Temple Newsam (Colton) at around 8am saturday morning - really good chance to see some rally cars close to home for everyone from Leeds.
The I'll be blatting up the A64 To Dalby to watch further stages from around 10am...
Anyone else going?

Dont forget, they have the rally stop-over on Elland Road and journey up from there to Newsam!First stage is Temple Newsam (Colton) at around 8am saturday morning - really good chance to see some rally cars close to home for everyone from Leeds.

Woolleson and myself will be doing every stage of the first day with our cameras so we'll be either busy snapping away or blatting from stage to stage

Its going to be a loooooooooooooooooooong day
Also good luck to Greensleeves who is competing in this very event

I very much doubt it will be busy, its not been advertised much. I imagine there will be just be the hardcore elite of rally fans there at that time on a Saturday morning.
a Pity really - a good chance for people to get into something they have no experience of.
Last time they used Temple Newsam was as part of Rally GB, about 10 years ago, late at night.

When I wake up from hangover induced sleep! Its 5 mins from my house...Wondering if it would be easier to get in your way or the official way?
That stage is very, very small, so I wouldnt worry too much about where your parked - the main car park looks to be right at the start of the stage anyway, and you could probably walk the whole length in 20 minutes.

Due to the time I'll be up and setting off, I'll be using satnav so could very well end up late

Its piss easy... If your coming from the motorway heading North,
Go left off the roundabout at J46,
Straight over the next one (Sainsburys),
2nd exit at the next one, (signed city centre/Leeds)
turn left at the first set of lights. Opposite a fishing shop / Brown Cow pub.
If your coming from town on the A6120, its right at the Brown cow pub.
The way into the park is down a narrow little road through a housing estate, stick with it. Through the archway and theres masses of car parking in front of the house.

The last time I watched the Rally at Temple Newsam was when Colin McCrae was storming around the stage in good old L555 BAT!Go right off the roundabout at J46,

Little hint too, if you park somewhere on the estate (at your own risk mind) there used to be a hole in the fence down through the small woodland area

Do you not mean turn left when you come off the roundabout at j46 heading north, or do you want all the good viewing spots to yourself. Cruel, very cruel Go right off the roundabout at J46,

. I might have to think about coming along. Is there anywhere safe to park and is there a charge at different places to get in to view?BlueMR2 said:

Anyone know where the Scarborough service spot is yet?
Anybody?Snotters:
If the pack turns up on time (please let it pllleeeassseee) then it should contain Forestry passes, programme, maps, stickers and general sponsorship bumpf
Unfortunately the organisers wouldnt give Woolleson and myself press passes as they only have a limited number of places and we're pretty much just nerdy spectators and the organisers require letters from Editors, regular article slots etc etc
