Isn't the post count indicative of the friendly approachable northeners, compared to the 'up themselves' Londoners ?

Dunno really - some of my best mates on PH are down south and they've got a fair few posts, like Dazren (14k) Tony Hetherington (13k), Oggs, Seasider, Greg e240 et al all with over 5k posts, even Podie manages a respectable 23,000

Was thinking more of the local - Yorkshire compared to London - rather than individuals. Less than 4000 posts on London.

Yeah were just a friendly bunch of post whores
Plus it is too cold to go outside so we have more time to spend on PH

ah I see ... in that case ... that will be because not that large a percentage of PHers actually live in the City of London ... they may work there but live in the outlying areas such as Thames Valley (21k posts)
