Does anyone in the Yorkshire region have a DB meter we could borrow or maybe use at the Railway meet??

contact ade at phattbeats car audio in barnsley www.phattbeats.co.uk (i think) and ask him if he can do it, I know that at his open days he runs exaust spl competitions using an audiocontrol

the only other people i know with spl meters are termlab units that need to be hooked into a PC and are a pressure sensor not a microphone

Scrote runs 98dBa at 0.5m at 4500 rpm which is the standard sound test these days (for rallying)

I dread to think how loud it is on full chat and even then, it's not as loud as the gearbox!

it isnt a chav car so long as you aint put an aftermarket bodykit and wheels on it...besides ben'll have you beaten in the chav stakes anyway!(sorry ben)

Should be interesting I measured mine at 105db the other weekend so should be up there with the TVRs lol I need to get some more silencing on mine before I go anywhere near a track this year

A lot of tracks are on the 105 limit mate, a couple are down at 98 (which is silly!)
