Hi Richard,
It was good to meet you and your lad yesterday. I'm glad you bought the 400SE I nearly bought, it's nice it's come up north and is in the hands of a true enthusiast.
Hope to see you again soon,
Colin

Nice to meet you and the missus yesterday
Your car looked great (sorry not as nice as the Wedge you missed IMHO!!!!)
I will remember my camera next time
Hope to meet again soon
Rich
Apparently you met my mate Scott Jagdpanther at the Pre 80s meeting earlier this year
I remember meeting Scott, nice bloke.
I don't think i'd ever change your opinion about what's best between the Taimar or the Wedge, but the Taimar is the car that I fell in love with as a child and I didn't want to miss the chance to own one and you seem like you will cherish the 400SE more than I would have done. I don't plan on getting rid of the Taimar but I will own a wedge one day (a true TVR enthusiast has to own one sometime), had a look when I got home and saw this http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/369385.htm , tempted!!!!!!!!!!!!

Once you have been taken by the noise of the Wedge
(especially thru some tunnels)then you are smitten
That 400 looks rather nice and certainly good value
I personally don't like grey interiors but the rest looks pretty good
Are you going to Chatsworth this year?
Rich

Get that little backbox removed and you'll be in a world of aural ecstasy

Howdo Col, long time no seeIts a small world the TVR community, I remember discussing the Wedge you nearly bought and then along comes Rich to rub salt into the wound

Hmmm Taimar with a big V8

Now theres something to combine the best of both worlds eh?

Rich
Very pleased you all enjoyed it
Its a rather pleasant place let down by a smaller than required CP
Have they enlarged the CP yet? Thelandlord promised he was going to this month!
Peter does a good job meeting and greeting
I was walking the Dales - getting in brownie points before the summer driving season
Hope to see you again at meetings and drives - nice wedge!

Howdo Scott, summers just around the corner so I'm sure our paths will cross again very soon. How's that race car of yours coming along?

Aye summer is just around the corner and Im sure we'll be at one or two of the same events...maybe the Pre 80s thing again?
I took some well planned photos of the older cars at Papplewick and the memory card gave up the ghost....lost the lot

The racer is making slow progress, but progress nonetheless

Got to pick up my engine from Chesterfield which I got at a bargain price. Got a set of Nitron Dampers for £100, fuel tank on the way, front end sourced, possibility of brakes and a wiring loom too so we're getting there
