I've been drooling over this since the advert appeared 2 days ago-

http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/375506.htm

It's round the corner from me and looks fantastic.

Are there any local 348 owners who could advise me re what to look for or where to take it for an independant inspectionn?

Cheers

Simon

Simon,
I know of the car and I know Geoff from a few years back. The car is mint and is well cared for and lokked after.

If you considering a 348 TS that is a very nice TS to go for. Well maintained, serviced and documented. Its has the a tubi and the nice wheels too. The red and creme is a great colour combo too.

I believe the car is a late 1992, not a 1993 and I might be corrected though. You will need to check.

For me I would go for a later - 348 GTS, GTB or a spider. The later 348's had more horses and wider track etc.

Hi Simon,

Like Justin, I know the car and it is immaculate. Much as Geoff is a nice guy though, 29k is right at the top of even the later model more powerful GTS and GTB models.

Well worth seeing as even if Geoff cannot move on price it will give you a benchmark as to what is an A1 condition 348.

You'll not regret it if the car checks out alright.

Nearest Ferrari dealer I know to you is in Leeds and I understand are quite expensive.

Going to Hull in mine in a couple of hours. Hope the frost disappears!
