Got it in Barnsley too. Woke me up and I sussed it out, the missus was a shivvering wreck, thinking someone was trying to break in!

I love it when anything like that happens. It makes life more interesting.

I woke up thought i had imagined being shook in my bed !! Thought to myself it couldnt have been the wind ? what happened... it kept me up a few hours

Never thought to stick the telly on and look ! An earthquake didnt even spring to mind

I was on the computer watching the end of Robot Jox (don't ask), and started to hear the lava lamp lid jingling... thought the other half was bouncing in bed getting angry at the bass from the speakers, but then it got louder and the floor started going. Really was worried she was seriously angry and somehow hitting the resonant frequency of the house, till I ran in the room and she was fast asleep hehe

It really is a weird sensation. And that was just over a magnitude 5. Think what a bloody 6 or even 7 would feel like!

I knew it was one straight away, I'd been in Manchester a few years ago when there were quite a few in succession over a couple of days. Still a shock though! One of the cupboards doors opened! Like a scene from Monsters Inc.

I had a feeling it was an earthquake as it didnt feel like the usual wind battering that the house gets...shows how excited I was....I went back to sleep 30 seconds later rofl
