Road between wawne road and skirlaugh near Hull. Terrible in anything other than bizarrely my old 911!
The road from my house up through lisset, gransmoor, burton agnes, rudston, then over the tops to scarborough to see the girlfriend is a good one though, nice and fast, good cambers, old road surface so plenty of grip, few pot holes.

but the worst condition roads go unmended.
Bus Priority Zone! Where the hell would they need one of those in Scarborough? Is it to try to appropriate the expensive ticket-prices? but the worst condition roads go unmended.Which one burriana? The one near Hull? If so it's the one we went on on that run I organised last year that everyone was moaning was too tight 
If it is the scarborough road I ran a tour of non pistonhead cars up it about 2 months ago, it is made for the job, very few opportunities to go wrong, lots of passing places and a good driving road.

BUt trust me (and them two^). Sheffield has the worse roads of any city I've ever experienced, and yes, particularly some of the nicer areas in the south west of the city.
Another one here for the Sheffield roads, if you find a good road here, then try it the next day and you will find them digging it up, and not for any particular reason either.
There are plenty of areas in Sheffield where you can find spending on the roads, but it usually consists of pointless junctions, roundabouts, traffic lights, tram gates, speed humps or cycle routes, they just seem to put any of these in place just to get rid of some money.

Sometime in April. I'll check with Stu as he knows the ground clearances of the various roads better than I.South Yorkshire roads are awfull, especially in the Rotherham / Sheffield / Barnsley area. The main road through Maltby is terrible for pot holes and sunken manhole covers. Every time I come back into S. Yorks from a drive I know I'm back when the bang and crashing starts. The road to the regular TVRCC meeting is an absolute disgrace, 3rd world countries have better.
