Motor-related weekend/evening work needed -Leeds

As the title says really.
I need some extra money for racing as my 9-5 only just covers costs, so I was wondering if anyone there needs a salesman/mechanic.

I'm working as a sales and proposals engineer at the moment for a heavy industry company, I have a keen interest in motoring/technology, and a degree in engineering. I'm not a pro mechanic but I do all my own work on the racing car, motorbike and my daily. So I guess I'd be useful as a spare pair of hands.

If anyone is working in the industry and needs a hand, please let me know and I can give you a proper CV and cover letter. I'd rather pop down in person as I'm not sure how wise it is handing out my personal details on an internet forum!
