I do the M62 twice a week, it's not nice.
To much traffic to maintain a safty space. Should ban lorry around rush hour, to easy the bulk.
Far tooooo many lorry's and nutters (Not speed, just bad driving).
I have a 10 year old so i can really sympathise.
Terrible news, and deepest sympathy to all concerned.
We were on the M62 yesterday, and it was awful. The spray from the HGVs was particularly bad, reducing visibility drastically. Saw lots of examples of very poor driving as drivers were seen to be on their phones, and one swaying very badly as he unwrapped his packed lunch in the cab at the wheel. We were frankly horrified.

Until people learn not to drive 10 feet behind each other, in ANY conditions,
sadly these tragedies will continue.
Also, there are enough routes now to separate larger vans plus HGVs from cars altogether...just a little creative thinking required.
Meanwhile another life has been lost through the selfishness and stupidity of others.
