The Program I have just says 17th May 12:30 to 17:30,(I don't have it with me so it could be slightly out). I've checked the Sherburn Web site and it is even more vague than that! It will depend on the number of riders who enter as to how long the event actually is but it should be fun for him. I on the other hand could be clambering around the obsticles ready to "catch", that will be a sight to behold. If I get any further Info I'll post it on this thread.
Well looks like the Lads from TrialsUK will be there although not riding. A local "expert" we know will be there as well as at least 5 other riders so it should be interesting. The club organising the trial is the Horsforth and District Motor Club.

Final Instructions. The Riders will be on Site from 9pm on practising the obstacles. This is normal practice for this type of Trial. The Event will start around noon and the best four riders will go into a "ride off" at the end. Given the type of event I'll be clambering over the sections in order to "catch" if necessary probably joined by others. It will probably finish around 4pm.

Ok Thought I'd just add some comments on the day. The Lads began practising about 10:30. The very slight showers did make for some slipd and slides off the obstacles and one or two falls but nobody got hurt.
The Trial itself we started at 12:30 and the lads followed each other around the circuit of Six sections , One "ladder", One See-saw, a Van and two Skip sections before the dreaded rocks and tape at the end. They then went the "other way" around to compete the lap. If anybody was there I was the guy scoring.
The second lap was done in a different format. Each rider went round the whole lap before the next started. Again the second part of the lap was in the reverse direction.
My Lad came third on the smallest bike and the crowd got to see some spectacular riding. The only thing was the lack of PA to let them know what was going on.
