Further update on the event:
Eight decades of classic motor racing entertainment in 3 days
On Track
21 races and 15 qualifying sessions over the 3-days featuring over 600 cars many driven in their day by some of the worlds greatest drivers.
Off Track
Entertainment for the whole family
The mass camp/party thing is an official www.chew-the-fat.com event - join the website, indulge in the banter
Camping is £30 per car/per tent
Myself and the guys at www.chew-the-fat.com are taking names for a pre-booked, roped off area so get your names down quick!
If Whittlebury Park get over 100 bookings for the weekend, they will provide live music for us

Silverstone draws ever closer!!!
Tickets are now available to the masses, but we're going to be buying them through the Sporting Bears Motor Club (via Phil "Vette_1978" Bennett) which will save us all a bit of cash
Tickets available upto June 30th!!!!!!!!

Recently I spoke with the good folk at Whittlebury Park who have been great so far with supplying information and answering my endless questions.
Camping for the weekend is £30 per car per tent for that you will get a 6x7 meter plot.
With this being such a large number of people arriving in one go (possibley in excess of 35 people!) that they would appreciate the payment to be made in full, in one go to make the admin easier. For this we will get our own reserved area roped off so it will be a large group of us in one spot as opposed to dotted about the site!
Again, payments will need to be made to me either through Paypal or by cheque (contact for details)

Remember to confirm your own names and those of friends who will be attending so we can gain the appropriate amount of tickets!!

- Open paddocks, see the race cars close up, talk to the drivers
- Special track displays
- Air displays from WWII planes to jet fighters and parachute displays
- Huge festival trade fair
- Live Music
- Period funfair

Its an oppertunity to get some Le Mans training in for next years event
If you're coming along with us, would need funds in no later than tuesday

We were planning to stay at Whittlebury but in the hall, not the park, but it's booked solid so it looks like we'll be stopping in the Hotel Cabanon (they make tents)
I don't know what time Mrs G finishes on the Saturday (perhaps Mrs Porscheuro may know?) but we're planning on driving down as soon as possible.
Will you be taking the bin lids John?
