Top Gear starts this sunday again
!!
Top Gear Sunday 22 June
8:00pm - 9:00pm
BBC2
The very latest Top Gear news and views from the usual team. Jeremy, Richard and James apply their minds to the question of what the British police should drive. Armed with no more than 1,000 pounds each, the Top Gear boys set out to buy a bargain priced police cruiser that can take part in a dramatic chase without fear of costing the taxpayer a packet if it gets broken. Meanwhile, James introduces a new member of the Top Gear team and steps aside so they can immediately make their mark on the show with a remarkable feat of daring. And as if that wasn't enough, Jeremy tears up the Top Gear track in the new Ferrari 430 Scuderia, the car that aims to put some passion back into the Italian supercar maker's increasingly nerdy and computerised stable. Plus there's a break from the norm as the Reasonably Priced Car welcomes a pair of stars in the contrasting shapes of the Friday Night Project's Alan Carr and Justin Lee Collins. All this, and some sound advice about how to deal with rising petrol prices.

I vote firmly against a female presenter just for the sake of it.
why do we need eye candy on this show? Unless it's the Perry girl or V B-H, then a random bit of skirt to attract the male audience is a dead-end for production values.
You only have to look at competitors to such motoring programs to see the enthusiatic-but-out-depth-female-presenter shoe horned in to a male dominated audience program.
forget it. if we want birds, we have Ferne Cotton, or failing that Girls Aloud on the telly.

7 pint is a bit harsh - cause the ability to drive makes her more attractive - the fact thats shes better than us could be a dint in the male ego though!
You might be right- but that propmts me to ask a question...How many pepole think driving ability in a man makes us more attractive to women?
Personally I think there is an inverse law here.

i think a man who can drive and i mean really drive is attractive, there is nothing worse than a man who cant drive or drives like an old man!!!!
I would recommend the one with a chauffeur....better than a bloke with no licence AND no money...and then there's always the chauffeur.
