Discussion
Hi I'm organising a bit of a runout early Sunday morning 20th. Details are still being worked out but will include routes encompassing the Yorkshire Dales around Hawes neck of the woods.
Plan is for a 7am start near the A1 Knaresborough - but I will post more details over the next few days.
Anyone interested?
Lady toilet stops and breakfast will be worked in

As for the Term "Dawn Raid" - that goes back 20+ years for me with the High Performance Club (HPC) using the term. - Theirs started at 4 am (ouch)

So would ours if me and Stu had our way ... but no other bugger'll get up so are you coming?

I would come but it sounds like a bit too late a start for me. On our normal dawn raids we are back home, having done about 150 miles and had breakfast, by about 9am ... which when you leave the wife looking after a 5 and a 1 yr old has certain benefits on the 'not getting your head chewed off' front

Looking at the Forcast this is deffo on at the moment.
Meet 6:45 - 7:00
A1/A59 Knaresborough Junction (J47?)
There is a lay-by just after the junction towards Knaresborough.
We will be setting off close to 7:00 so don't be late.
N.B. there is no V-Power available en-route, there is BP Ultimate but its not clear if its 24hr. So please bear this in mind
The route is about 120 miles but can be reduced if we want to. - please bring a map
I will be handing out route instruction and a small map when you arrive.
I will email those who post on the thread my Mobile number.

Every time! Do you realise I'm putting my marriage on the line as I'm going behind the wifes back to fit a Tubi and decat.... I mean sports cats officer!
Going to have to try that road out though, although may not be in the yellow peril. Looks a bit bumpy?

I would consider putting a decatted capristo instead a decatted tubi on the 355.
Tubi sounds best on a 348 and capristo on a 355.

I know, I'd love a Capristo for the 355, but sadly I cant afford to stretch that far. Dave H has told me where I can get a Tubi for not much money, so figured its better than nothing?I would consider putting a decatted capristo instead a decatted tubi on the 355.
