Was thinking of a small meet up tonight as the weather looks to be half decent.

Anyone fancy popping over to the Humber Bridge car park (near the gift/coffee shop)?

Unfortunate for me personally that I couldn't come to this, had been watching the chat since it started. Had a prior snooker game meeting with an old friend, which ended in success and then turned into another 9 frames of pool in the local! I was thinking about starting up a partner night meet to the Leeds one, more over this way though, would that be welcomed?

Would have loved to have seen the Stradale!

Would love to have come, but my son had is last day off work for his summer break and 18th birthday celebration. We both went up to Fraisthorpe so he could practice flying his kite in preparation for his kite surfing antics he's determined to follow. See, that was part of his 18th pressie. We spent a week in Poole so he could do 3 days on a kite surfing course. He spent a bloody fortune on all the kit, but dad, fat and 47 now has the responsibility of launching this bloody wind gatherer whilst his precious son is attached by suicide wires to the other end of it. Yeah we've spent a few days driving up to Brid and surrounding, and not flew so much as a sodding feather. Today was different. My boy got that sucker flying like a good un. Soon he'll be flying it whilst riding on his board. So today/this eve was very good as we achieved something. Overcoming fear and gaining confidence.

Sorry I missed you all. Will be there next time. And Simon, Beverley was a hoot once we got in the pub (3 of them). Sorry we didn't meet. Loved the little blue 1929 Austin Seven.

To be fair, I did mention it to Vic and she said she didn't mind if I went, but as we didn't have Gabby for the night last night, I know that she was looking forward to a nice relaxing glass of wine and sit down to watch a film or something... so being the modern man that I am ...
