The only thing I will ask is if your not a trackdayer or interested in trackdays please don't fill it in as it will give spurious results.

I see where you're heading Oliver, but to me the attraction of track days is to take my own car and drive it like it was intended without fear of prosecution

I regret to this day cancelling the day that I had booked at Cadwell with the 911 just because I had decided to sell the car.

There are already companies offering such a service but unfortunately the costs are prohibitively expensive (or at least quite steep for what you seem to get) but I'm up for this if the price is right. I need as much experience on tarmac as I can get.

You'd be surprised how little a seasons karting costs and it's proper racing too, even for fat ba$tards like me!

Well to be honest I've got about all the research I need now.

The plan is to elaborate on a service we are already offering, and integrating it within a whole neatened up company. The prices for a custom built trackday car will be a lot lower than most people think and will provide a nice cheap way to enjoy trackdays.

The business model is actually based more around the companies that offer car hire round the ring, tending to offer one make and model of relatively budget vehicle but prepped to make a potent track vehicle. It isn't really aimed at the GT3 trackday lads, more the nice car that you don't fancy wrapping up on track, never mind causing wear and tear on it. The cost of a new clutch, brakes, suspension and tyres never mind paintwork/wheel refurbs would probably cover a car from ourselves. With only a much reduced maintenance charge to pay in comparison to your daily driver. Plus it keeps your nice car nice.
