It was a standing joke between Miss K and myself everytime we went into Batley we would see at least one TVR. But now I'm wondering is it just coincidence or is Batley the TVR centre of the Country...must have seen 10 plus different ones over the last few weeks, Tuscans (Batley Boy) Cerbs, Griffs, Tasmins the lot.
Are we going mad !!

Aye there’s a growing number of us. It's maybe a reaction to all of the tricked up BMW's (mostly M3's) and orange coloured Fords kicking around the place.

TVR's have become the choice of Batley’s Hoi Polloi!

Phil currently runs an SP6. They are Saab specialist but look after and deal in some high performance stuff, including TVR's of any and all ages. Currently has some interesting TVR projects on the go right now. You should pop up and introduce yourself at the very least. Phil will tell you straight with regard to SP6 and anything else. Nice people.

Coming down the hill from Ikea, turn left at the traffic lights with the car pitch on the corner. Go up the hill, and just before it crests look for the gap in the houses with the garage sign outside. That gap gets you to several garages including Carlton Porsche and Aeromotive Saab.

Cheers for that Rocket.

I think I know where they are... more or less opposite Birstall Cricket Club?

Ive been looking for some where local. Track v Road are just a bit too far away for me. Apparently one of their blokes lives around here and will drive the car up there and back, but its all a bit of a hassle.

I will bob in and introduce myself next time I am passing and see what Phil has to say.

Enjoy.

That's handy to know, if I ever end up with that TVR I keep meaning to get!

I used Saab aeromotive for a big service a few months ago. Good to know they're a competent bunch, good prices too...shame they don't do courtesy cars though.

Originally a Mirfield Lad, now working in Lincolnshire I visit the Folks in Gods Country quite often but hate taking the Griff. You would see mine about more but he roads are terrible, pot holes are the worst in the North of the country around Dewsbury IMHO. Then you have to contend with the taxis....
Usually end up taking the Eurobox instead.
