Ferraris At Harewood Hillclimb Sept 20th

I just thought I would give a heads up to those who may be interested and considering that I was telling Mr Ditto about it yesterday, it's kind of ironic!
Anywho
Harewood Hillclimb is running the last race of the season on the 20th and 21st of September. On the 20th the field of usual cars heads up the hill for the best possible times, but the Ferrari Owners Club are there in force, blatting up the hill in cars ranging from a 308GT4 - F430
I'm usually there, with the camera and maybe a jacket this time
Sunday sees another good variety of cars including such rarities as a Lancia Stratos, but the big run of the day will be the various Lotus' that are in attendance
Should be a good weekend

No, you see its because they're that well ballanced, they move along with grace and passion rather than all this body roll you get with lesser supercars!

They will be running the practice runs which kick off around 9am, then running when their class is called, throughout the day...hard to give specific times due to various circumstances that could occur through the course of the daymarkmakak said:

Difficult to say do to lots of factors, but the invited classes usually run first in each session, therefore soon after 9am, 10.30am, 1pm, 2.30pm and 4pm would be my guess, but if there are delays due drivers falling off the black stuff or similar then it might be different.Should be a good weekend all round though and the cars are in the paddock all day to look at.

I thought this was a little bit harsh Mark (even for you)but just got back from watching Saturdays Ferrari runs and got to completely agree
There was only 1 or maybe 2 who seemed to even get out of 1st gear
"What a load of hairdressers was my mates comment"-and he is not a petrolhead
The TVR guys a few weeks ago were much better to watch and photograph
The rest of the day was glorious sunshine and glorious motorsport
Get there tomorrow if you can as it's the last meeting there of the year I think
and the puffs aren't running Sunday

The thing is though, that Harewood is quite the daunting little track when you're on the black stuff. I've been up in a car, with thanks to Lord Summerisle and it looks smaller when you know you're in a tin box
The corners seem to come from nowhere too, so I'm guessing the guys in the Raris didn't want to risk binning them, afterall, you know how expensive a regular binnage could be and it's even more expensive when you prang a TVR so imagine how much it's going to be when you have a big off in a Ferrari
