Citroen specialist, Leeds

My oldie-but-goody Citroen ZX could do with a service, or at least some attention to the brakes (!). Can anyone recommend a suitable Citroen specialist in (central or north-east) Leeds ?

I'd much prefer a trusted local place to a shiny main dealer and if they are used to the ZX-generation they'll know what needs to be done.

Not central or NE Leeds, but I recommend http://www.citraulix.com/ in Bradford if that helps. Used them for my Citroen car transporter.

ZX turbo D's are fantastic cars, I'm on number five at the moment. Most stuff on them is pretty simple and most garages have worked on them or the pug's. Don't know your area unfortunatly but a good local mechanic is all thats needed.

Probably a bit far from you but there's a place in Sheffield based at Regent House who are Citroen specialists. He used to work at Reg Vardy and is simply the best, most honest mechanic I know. He's one of the reasons why the VTR is still on the road. Radiator goes - £60 fitted, power steering goes - he sources a recon unit, clutch goes, £90 fitted.

Worth a ring to get an idea of just how much cheaper he could do it.

Good effort ! This is only my second. I bought it to do a tedious long commute for a few months four years ago and I've just kept it. It costs me nearly nothing and is worth about the same so as long as it passes the MOT it stays.

John Greaves in Horsforth is a Citroen Specialist 0113 2585791. There used to be DCM in the centre of leeds as well their number was 01132448080 but they had to move and I don't know where they ended up.

Actually a Renault specilist but I'm sure it wont give them too much trouble
