Has anyone used Matel magic in Barnsley for wheel refurbishment? If so, was the quality of their work and customer service good/

Thanks, David

I've used them for 2 bonnet stays, a set of Bora 4Mo and Toyota Paseo wheels and they've all been perfect. Good on tyre re-fitting and balancing.

I've had 3 sets of alloys done by Metal Magic with no problems.

18 months since I had mine done and they need doing again. Disappointed. They are magnesium though but I'd have expected better.

Yep, and another set of wheels here that need re-doing after 12 months. Bubbly! frown

I had some ford wheels done 18 months ago, and they will need doing again soon too. They were very corroded tbh so I'm not really surprised.

Other than that they did a good job smile

I've just taken mine to AP tyres at parkgate, having Toyo T1R's fitted at the same time. They're painting them in an anthracite colour and charging £40 per wheel to do the refurb, acid dipped, blasted then painted inc chrome valves

Great looking beema and hope it has the V10 option.
Hopefully cheaper to maintain than the earlier model.

At the risk of public castration - does this mean we'll shortly be rid of the inept outboard motor design inherited from the Beetle?
