Anyone pref Leeds have a halfords trade card.

My MR2s battery is completely done this morning, showing about 9 volts and just drops completely when trying to crank, hopefully just needs a new battery, as this one has gone completely flat before.

I cant really afford one at the moment so as cheap as possible for a good one with a good replacement if it goes in a couple of years, so i was thinking Halfords are pretty good if you can get one at trade prices. The problem being i cant exactly drive that far to get one, what with my car not starting. But could probably get to one nearby in my dads car.

Any ideas?

Not sure where you are but there's a good battery shop near Ossett - Valley Batteries. Well stocked, good service and I'd cheaper than Halfords when I needed one a few months ago.

if you know someone with a costco card, they are usually cheap for batteries

Look in yell for Motor Factors. I got my Bosch Silver from Andrew Page for <50% the cheapest price I could find anywhere else.

http://www.andrewpage.com/ have loads of depots around here.

ETA: No trade card etc needed...
