Afternoon all. (Also posted this in TVR forum but guess its more relevant here)

Annoying I have very badly curbed one of spiders on my T350C (on the actual lip of the rim but also on two of the spokes!!!) and am looking for a good alloy wheel refurber in Leeds.

Does anyone know of any? I find that many places vary a lot and would like to go on reputation of doing a good job for other PH'ers.

Thanks

I'm looking this up myself right now, picking up some 2nd hand rims this week that may need re-coating.

I've used MSS Wheel doctor in the past for a couple of blasting/powdercoating jobs, very industrial type place, which was exactly what I needed then, but i've not seen any of their wheel refurbs. Perhaps worth a call in to see some samples if your near, at least. Prices were good for the work I had done.

I've also found this place - http://thewheelspecialist.co.uk/ just over the road from my house - seem to be rated on the net. I may well pop over when I get a minute this week and see if they have any samples and just to have a chat - I'll let you know how I get on.

Steve Edwards did some rims for me 12mths ago. Can't recommend him strongly enough. He's subsequently done some paintwork on my S2k which is bordering on incredible. This guy's attention to detail is outstanding.

Don't tell everyone though. His waiting list is long enough already......

Had mine done by thewheelspecialist.co.uk at Garforth, I'm happy with the result.

That's why I recommend him

I know he's not as cheap as some, but if you want quality, you pay Steve! His work is mind blowing!!!!

I know that should the Battlecruiser make it to France with me, then when it's respray time, it will be coming back and going to him yes

Try Paul at LSN coatings in Castleford. 01977604461

Just had four 18" Spiders which were curbed and a bit shabby given the full treatment for the princely sum of £120!

They look like new!

A friend of mine used a company called Cast Coatings in Bradford to refurbish his 17” ST170 alloys. They charged £20 per wheel and the finish is fantastic they look like new. He had to get the tyres removed and left his car on axle stands for a few days though.

Is Steve Edwards a decent bodyshop as well? I'm looking for a decent, local to Leeds bodyshop to carry out some minor repairs on my car.
