Righto
I thought I would post this in the good ole yorkshire section to see if anyone would be interesting in popping down for a weekend of manic, drag racing mayhem?
I'll be there on the saturday and sunday as team photographer for Bassline Top Fuel and shooting Falstead & Bests Fuel altered car (www.fuelaltered.co.uk)
All information on the event, can be found here

Slap your names on a list if you fancy it

The Mighties will be there Friday to Monday. We'll pop by and say hello in the JB camp at some point over the weekend I'm sure.
Excellent, hope to see you there thenI predict that Saturday I will be the large, fresh faced and enthusiastic gentleman armed with a camera and a couple of friends armed with the same
Sunday I will probably very much the same, but about as fresh as a Petrol station egg salad sarnie

Quite a few will be at te Yorkhire Breakfast Meet on the 12th, wonder if there is some hillclimbing on that weekend as well
Spring Nationals on 12th
I'm not aiming for a s
tload of people to come down, just wondering if anyone was and popping a heads up for those not doing the HC or BRGood chance I'll see you there on Saturday mate. I've convinced the missus that as it's my birthday we should all go down to the Pod and try out the tent before the TT. Look out for a bored lass, a giddy 3 year old in ear protectors and a giddy 34 year old foaming at the mouth. Reckon we'll be there Friday/Saturday nights. Just need to check if we can camp Saturday and not have a Sunday ticket.
Monster trucks, wheelie Corvettes, jet cars, fireworks and all manner of drag cars.....yes please!

Gimme a shout nearer the time dude, meet up down there Monster trucks, wheelie Corvettes, jet cars, fireworks and all manner of drag cars.....yes please!
We're there sat and sunday, guess we're camping, but no idea at present

You hardy fools still going then?
Metcheck looks good for all but Friday afternoon with 14/15 degrees each afternoon which isn't too bad for an Easter meet at the Pod!
I would suspect we'll be in quite a large group of reprobates from here on the PH drag racing forum, but actually more commonly tied by being ex-DragsterWorld types. We're usually to be found around 2/3rds of the way up the bank just about level with the 330ft reflector. If you fancy meeting up just let us know a time/place. As I said before we'll arrive Friday morning and be there all weekend so anytime is good as long as it doesn't get in the way of sniffing nitro!

Sadly I aint going
Jon Best had to withdraw from this competition and since I was kinda crewing and snapping for him, there's no point me going
Instead, I am now going for a ride on the ER5 on friday and out on the lash on saturday...
Probably to be found in a kebab house early doors sunday morning or crying with hangover in bed

Maybe you can make it to the meet at York Raceway, Easter Sunday.
Some of us Tivvers are going up the strip. Everything crossed for dry weather.
Possible, was just speaking to Trickie about this as I would like to pop up and give the bike a run in the process, but I won't know until saturday night/sunday morning as I'm out on the lash with a friend or two and it's bound to get messy! Some of us Tivvers are going up the strip. Oh dear... you're obviously not as hardy as I thought! 4 days come rain, come shine here...
I wouldn't have minded getting in a little track time at York as Mrs Mighty and I are considering running the Camaro in ASS this year, but the draw of all the nitro is way too much to bear. Plus there's 7 alky cars booked in and 10, oops make that 9 ProMods.
Probably will run into you at Leeds Cruise one night Phil when it doesn't clash with a race meeting. I don't do the Mopar Euronats and any of that type of event which is just a glorified RWYB in my opinion and in any case the Mopars clashes with the Viedec Festival at Mantorp Park and as a flight to Sweden and back can be had for abut £80 including taxes... I'll keep sniffing the nitro!
