SUNDAY 29th MARCH @ 2.30 PM

Grand prix event at Pro Am outdoor circuit at Tockwith Airfield.
http://www.proam-karting.co.uk/track/index.html

Fantastic circuit, 700m long, quick karts and the added handicap it could rain and really sort the men from the boys - computerised timing

Cost per driver is £40 ( normally £45 )

If you are interested in coming please let me Know as soon as you can

( Mark H - if you are over here at the time we reserve the right to add 4 stone of ballast)

I'll have a bit of a think about this - looks good. Last time I went outdoor karting I tried to take a tricky sequence flat out, ran out of talent and ended up in the Three Sisters tyre barriers. What a chump.

Any chance of introducing some kind of handicap system which assists those people who've woken up at 4am to watch the Australian GP that morning?!

How about we make it mandatory you have to get up and watch the grand prix - to even things out !

Good call!

I'll have a word with a couple of folk about this. My other half has been saying for months how much she wants to go karting so might get her involved. I was taken to an indoor place in Wakefield by a subcontractor a few weeks ago. Turns out he has a BDA-engined Mk 1 Escort rally car and completely wiped the floor with us. Nobody got within 2 secs of his best time - was awesome to watch.

More the merrier - outdoor if it rains is a real talent leveller and the slower steady drivers can sometimes pinch a win

aww guys thas soo nice! (gits)... i shall be doing my best to get stu.B there as a slightly older and wiser (and probably faster) replacement. Some say under his right foot is actually made of Lead, and some say that if you hold your ear to an Oil Filter you can hear his thoughts...All we know is, he's called Stu.B!
