UPB Body Shop - Pontefract - Any Experiences?

Hello fellow Yorkshire-Folk

Recently my car was vandalised (keyed and ripped roof) and my insurers want to send the vehicle to these guys:

UPB (UK Ltd),
New Lane,
Upton
Pontefract,
West Yorkshire
WF9 1HJ

They have said I can use my own paint shop but they are digging their heels in about sub-contracting out the replacement roof (my preferred place will only do paint, not the roof). I am contemplating using these guys but I am always wary of these 'insurance approved' places and have horrible images or apprentices let loose on my car just to get 'em in and out as fast as possible.

Does anyone have experience of using these guys?

drive past em frequently but never had the pleasure ..can't you have a ride up and have a butcher's around first.... you need to ask greensleeves he know's every man and his dog round our way...

i do know that AWR are w@nk though..

I would rather not pass judgement on Upton Panel Beaters as my comments may ensue legal proceedings against me.

Can't comment on the quality of their finishing either as I never got as far as that with them.
