Flywheel - lightened & Balanced, where?

hello chaps,

Can anyone recommend a machine shop where I could get my flywheel lightened and balanced?

I live in bradford near the BRI but don't mind driving about 15-20 miles to find the right place.

Can anyone suggest a good place?

better response as the engine should be able to rev quicker.

anyone? someone 'must' know of a decent machine shop in west yorkshire?

Needs fine tuning once done otherwise you end up with judder and all sorts of crap.

Mine was done via Roush darn sarf, Essex.

Thanks. I suppose getting it done down south is an option as I am always in London. I will look into it.

Could you elaborate when you say 'fine tuning' once done? if it is balanced correctly there should not be any problems?

I couldn't find anybody in Bradford but I had mine done last year by

Carcraft Garage
St. Andrews Road
Huddersfield

They did an excellent job - I had the whole bottom end done - rods, crank, front pulley, clutch, flywheel. They were recommended by Drakes (big Bradford engine builders).
