TVRCC members are welcome at the DriveStyle open day this Sat

North Yorks and West Yorks are going between 10am and midday.
There is a chance to have your car checked out in your presence for free.

Other regions consult your RO for timings please.
We are going for a 2hr drive in the afternoon too.

So see you 10am at Lime St Harrogate for the tour of the garage, refreshments and free checks.
If you fancy a drive later then meet at the Nelson Inn Skipton Road Harrogate about 1pm.

Thanks Richardo

Anyone wishing to travel in from Bradford area with us can meet
at the Murgatroyds Fish & Chip Emporium, Yeadon at 9.15 to depart by 9.30 latest

The runway tunnel is less than 1/2 mile from our start point for your aural pleasure & delight
(as long as Richardo's mates aren't waiting at that end - in which case it's 1st gear only!!!!! eek )

Cheers

Good job done by the technicians

Finding a perished fuel pipe running over the exhaust might just have saved another fire loss!

Butties were good.
The Xbow was stunning!

Set up is much smaller now at DriveStyle but seems to be good.
We were talking service packages for different cars - more specific to the owners needs.

The drive out in teh afternoon was a "little" longer than planned however an enjoyable route with roof off, and pleasant company.
Even picked up a rogue Taimar on Bolton Abbey hill.
Nice to have you join us Steve.

Hope to see you all at the next one.
Oh I feel a good drivers season coming on bounce

Thanks Richard for all your organisation

We now know for certain that even with the best will in the world you can't get
TVR drivers to read maps and instructions while enjoying themselves out driving in their P&Js

As you say good hospitable welcome at Drivestyle and much appreciated coffee and butties
but more importantly finding a possibly catastophically dangerous fuel pipe was good work
and news to the owner as the Tuscan had just been bought recently and supposedly serviced by that other local dealer

But my favorite and the best quote came again from the mechanics(and our heroes of the day)
"This 19 year old Wedge is in better condition than a much younger Tuscan recently surveyed"

A good day all round and the weather stayed fine on the whole

Cheers
Trickie

PS Thanks also to Tony, from my son James, for the excillerating ride in his Aston

Did anyone happen to notice if a blue W plate Tuscan was anywhere near back in one piece following a recent barbeque-like episode? The sun is shining and I want it back. weeping
