Chaps,

Popped up here back in Feb to pick up an ED30 GTI for the misus & had some top recomendations for eating out.

BiBi's was highly spoke of so will give that a look. We had dinner in the Thai opposite & it was great.

Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

The Room has never let us down, great twist on their food and the atmosphere is spot on.

The owner, Robert, is a friend of mine and i am there with him and my g/f on Thursday night.

I know of a great curry place in Leeds, its bring your own drinks. Its on Burley Rd - http://www.restaurant-guide.com/corner-cafe-the-3....

Bar and Grill near the station is good food, although tables are close together and it is expensive.

Red Chilli is good chinese

little tokyo is good japanese

Malmaison is very good for all meals, breakfast, lunch and dinner - again pricey

I like Brasserie Blanc and Grillade

if outside of Leeds on the M62 go off at Elland and find La Cachette

I think BiBi's is very over rated and looks very tacky

I'll agree with you there yes

They apparently stop serving at three on a Saturday lunch time and me, Vicki and Gabby (3 or 4 at the time) got in bang on three. Turned away as the kitchen was now closed. Yeah right. Thanks.

There very slow at serving. Foods OK but over rated.

Others suggested are a lot better.

Always had a good time at Bibi's. Yes, the service isn't the fastest when they are busy, but I think the building is stunning. The attention to detail is impressive. I suppose you have to like pukka Art Deco design.

It's a multi-storey car park? Was there last week for lunch. Thought the food was OK for the cost (fixed price lunch menu), would hope it was a lot better if paying full evening price!

In Leeds City Centre:

Top 3:
No3 Park Place is fantastic. Not cheap (£100 for 2, 3 courses, with a bottle of wine), but worth it
4th Floor at Harvey Nics is also good but same sort of money
Anthonys at the corn exchange was great (although a little cold when sitting down due to the size of the Corn Exchange) and about £70 ish.

For cheaper (but good) eats I'd go for Chaophraya (thai), Cafe Guru or Aagrah (both do indian food) - £45 ish
Sams chop house is nice for lunch

failing that Gourmet Burger Kitchen - nom
