Anyone have any details, was at the Hyde Park junction, full lane blocked, lots of vehicles in attendance.

Only curious because it looked like a very, very improbable accident from the angles, and seemed to be an emergency vehicle (large ambulance) rolled on its side, at 90 degrees to the road.

(Hope no-one injured or worse - if they were I'll delete the thread)

No idea, but can be a sharp turn - too fast?

Otherwise lots of accidents/near misses there due to the turn right feeder from Woodhouse Street onto Otley Rd that is active at the same time as oncoming traffic eek

Someones just had a big ooops at the kirkstall road intersection that leads to headingly...

Looks like they've come through the lights going passed the pool (on the left) or come down Kirkstall Road and tried turning right at what looks to be a good speed.

Car's fooked, gone through some steel barriers and helped to make Leeds own version of the Leaning tower out of a set of traffic lights. Bit's of the car (new shape Corolla??????) everywhere, catapulted the headlights and parts of the radiator out about 30ft!

Not bad in a confined space

Unfortunately that's what you get for changing the road lay out and people being very inpatient.
I live just at the top of there and see a fair few accidents a week.

The junction by Morrisons on Kirkstall Road has recently changed, hasn't it? Absolute chaos when I was trying to get to a meeting out in Menston a few weeks ago.

Yea i agree with what people are saying about the Kirkstall Junction i live on Lea Farm Rd half a mile or so away and regularly see people at that junction without a clue as to what lane they should be in, i think they have changed it all just to spend the years budget!!!

The thing is when coming out of Morrisons to get to Headingley you now have to turn left instead of right which for some people is very confusing lol

That redesign was probably done by the same person that did the design by Leeds Grammer School. Turn left to go right. Totally retarded.

Still see loads of people on their phones, not indicating, running red lights, etc. rolleyes

It does help when drivers are concentrating on... driving, regardless of dicks in offices trying to confuse us by re-drawing the map every other month. irked

Just saw a nasty one on Cardigan road just by the Total Garage. A T5 Paramedic ambulance was overtaking a queue by the road works, when a woman in a black citroen c1 pulled out in front of him

He managed to avoid hitting it head on, clipped the OSF and veered of into a lamp post. He got out but looked very shaken up.
