My car just came back from North Eastern yesterday to have its 4 wheel alignment for the second time in 2 weeks because they didnt do it right the first.

It's a great place but i wouldnt get the alignment done there again.

I've always found them to be excellent, recently having 4 Toyo T1R's fitted.

Dont bother with places like that. If you want the job done correctly, go and get it done at Track Torque near Tockwith: http://www.tracktorque.co.uk/

I concur.

Wouldn't even get tyres from NE, certainly not cheap.

Forgive my stupidity, but that website refers to the funcup, not much I could see about cars or 4 wheel alignment. What am I missing?

Edited to add North Eastern matched Camskill prices for me, so they're not all bad.

Got alignment done there, steering wheel wasn't straight afterwards. Took it back. Same problem. On third time of taking it back, they finally took it out for a test drive and agreed. Tweaked it again and now it's OK.

A lot of hassle though. Definitely not recommended. On top of which, it transpired they fitted the wrong load rating tyre to my car so ended up having to get that changed.

That is exactly what happened to me, even now its not perfect but i cant be arsed to go back for another 3 hours.

I found they are usually very good with tyres and can price match. Strangely i could get Falken tyres from camskill for cheaper than they could before even a markup so guess it depends on the brand.

The website is not the best, but worth while ringing them up or popping over.

Seconded - a very professional outfit and run by enthusiasts who know what they're doing.
