Next wednesday evening Beverley Saturday market (the main square) six onwards.
Have heard its fully booked, 200+ cars.
Organised by the East Yorks Thoroughbred Car Club.
Previous years have been very good shows.

banghead Got my entry ticket sorted and just realised that it is the same night as I have already promised to take someone's son to his school prom!

Who the hell thought it would be a good idea to have a prom on a Wednesday night!

As a few of us are either showing cars or coming for a look round.

Think a meet up is in order.

Nellies 7 oclock, have a drink and a natter then look round the show.

How time flys, this event last year led to the birth of the East Yorks PH monthly meet.

Might have another drink or two after the show when the cars tucked up.

Stephen, have you become ill recently? That's two post in the last month that have been perfectly lucid, on topic, and with not a sniff of a wind up ... are you mellowing in your old age? smile

My car will not now be able to take it's place in the show as it is having a fuel leak sorted but will try and bring Vicki and the kids up for a look round and a bite to eat at Pizza Express. Not going anywhere near Nellies though even if I was offered a free pint of their warm beer!

Al, are you still booked in to show the car?

It was all full when I asked... just wondered if there were possibilities to swap a an italian one for a redneck yankee one wink

It's booked in but you need a windscreen pass with Reg No on.

Feel free to ring the organiser and ask - Mine is JIL 3119 Ferrari 348.

Cars spotless now cool ready for tomorrow - if the suns out will probably be in the yard at Nellies after getting the car parked up.

I will be there with Vicki and the kids but Nellies is not really suitable (or desirable!). We'll go to Pizza Express about 5.30 then maybe see some of you later one.

New Walkergate car park is free after 6 (the one opposite the M&S car park) or Tesco is ok for a couple of hours, or maybe over on the first bit of Norwood if you're coming to Nellies.
