Seaways at Fridaythorpe is always chock full of m/cycles esp. on a Wednesday - does anyone know if they ever have any car meets on a specific night?

Dunno, but it's my regular run-out destination in the Cat for a fry up.

Only shame is they don't serve black pudding. Otherwise it's top dollar.

We have regular meets there ... usually about 8am on a Sunday morning after 2 hours hooning around the Wolds and North Yorkshire Moors.

The car park is ok, not massive but will take about 20 cars or so.

Will keep an eye out on a Sunday morning then smile Though some evening car meets might be good during the summer. Once I get the Mk2 Escort sorted I intend to make full use of the local roads.

Be careful there though. Plod spends a fair bit of time in Helicopter, and have several unmarked vehicles knocking about at the moment.

There was an operation running for a while using the helicopter - was quite widely publicised in the press. Still one or two unmarked knocking about, and plenty of speed checks being done in the villages (the latter rightly so IMHO).

There's a reason we go out at 6 o'clock in the morning smile

I was going to say something a few months back but didn't. Word to the wise, I'd start becoming a little more cautious, if you know what I mean. Hope this helps.

I know what you mean Chris, that's why our run details are kept off forum.

Even with Oscar 99, there are still a lot of roads in East and North Yorkshire to go at smile

I can varify that..

Came down that way on a ride to Cadwell the other week and enjoyed some of those East Yorkshire/North Lincs roads on the CBR smile
