Cars in the Park: Harewood September '09
Discussion
I thought it worth setting up a dedicated thread for this:
13th September at Harewood House.
See www.carsinthepark.org.uk for details of cheap tickets if you have a qualifying car to display.
Who's going to be there?

So who went?
What were your thoughts on it?
It was a shame that it wasnt as nice a day as on Saturday but there was a very healthy turn out.
Highlights for me were the white 964 RS, Mustang GT500 which I've seen twice now and my first Morgan Aeromax.
Other than that, not too much rare or older stuff IMO.
Too many shiny engine bays for my liking which made me feel almost embarrased to be there. Took a few pictures which once I've processed I might stick on here. However, I found I had more pictures from the Harewood House Bird Garden than I did of the cars on display.
More TVR's than I have ever seen in my life!

It's not about rare, ultra cars. Its more a social event for the car owners/fans.What were your thoughts on it?

It was a great day out, Where else can two people have a day out for £7?
Loads to see, had a chat to the owners of a few interesting motors.
A great friendly atmosphere-and no "badge snobbery".
I've been to half a dozen cars in't park and if the weather is good they are always worth a visit- Each one gets better and bigger, cheers Chris for the effort you put in!!
Dunx.

I'm into my automotive design but not so much the geeky / cliquey side of car ownership.Eviltad said:
