I was going to say B&M but I've never used them. Was thinking of switching from Bavarian Motor Warehouse in Hudderfield to B&M for my next service.

I've found Bavarian Motor Warehouse friendly, helpful and reasonably priced but they didnt quite do as I asked on the last service. i.e they did bare minimum and not resolve/diagnose an issue I'd asked them to look at. However, they were 2 men down on the day. Used them for about 2 years now.

BMCare seemed to miss a lot, when mine went in for an inspection 2. i told them to give it a little extra looking over as i had just purchased it.

2nd visit wasnt much fruitful either, i tohought id wait round and see whatthey do and basically rather than pin pointing the fault they were more in to replacing this that and the other.

So therefore on the hunt for a decent BMW specialist who take pride in their work.

especially the M cars.

Try Bav Motors then. Ish is a great chap so just explain the problems to him.

I can recommend Mr Talkwrench here ^^^ smile as can a few others on here.

He rebuilt his MotorSport V12 a couple of years ago because he "thought it could probably do with it"!

He also looks after all of the servicing on my 7 Series and the Ferrari (he has just done the main engine out service on it).

He will also check and sort out things that others may simply overlook or not bother with.

Good luck.

I would highly recommend Charlie @ FAR Servicing on Huddersfield Road in Wyke.

He owns the servicing/repairs side of FA Ropers, the German car specialists. Very knowledgeable, reliable and reasonable.

Strange, I used them for a number of services and was pretty happy with them. They also done some fault diagnosis for me at no charge and a few other bits and pieces at no fee or reduced fee things while I was having other work done.
