Shame its shutting, i'll send Stephen an email to ask if he would mind finding out what days may be suitable for a PH Visit before it shuts. It was quite interesting last time.

Hopefully all those who work there can get find employment before the years out, not a nice Christmas for them.

That is quite a few cars that will need a new home as well.

I got a reply from Stephen and it sounds like the cars will start to be vacated pretty much straight away and gone in the next month or so, so a farewell meet sadly isn't possible.

All the best to those who work there who are understandably upset and i hope they all find somewhere to continue the good work they do.

What a shame, my tutor Mike (car maintenance part time course) works there. Turned up in this a few times:

Mike came to not the last, but the one before (early 2009 one) CITP With his Jag. Very nice.

I take it your course is with what was called the Leeds College of Technology?

I'm led to believe they are busy preparing cars for the London to Brighton run at the moment.

It is at Skills Xchange in Castleford, as part of Wakefield College.

What is CITP, cars in the park?

Yeah, Cars in the Park.

I think on some of the courses at the Leeds college, they actually went to work on cars at the museum.
