free car photoshoot

Hi PH'ers !!


I hope that I won't trouble anyone with this discussion much, as it's not for commercial use.
I would like to give a car photosession away just for the fun of it, to a person who could appreciate it, well and living in west yorkshire. Have done these shoots couple of times, but never a full car session. Unfortunately the session would be a digital SLR only as film is too expensive just to give away. Can post pics later if I see some interest. p.s. only for real pistonheads who love their rides.

oh ! yeah ! just getting acquainted with the forums etc. Should I post this in the regional PHers ? I assume that they first read general gassing and only then go to their regional stuff etc.

yes, I haven't still decided how I'll do this. For the girls etc the looks mattered, but here I won't do it just because someone has a supercar.

this was the first I found. Nothing amazing, but still nice.

location etc. is a problem right now because of the weather etc. I first had the idea of doing this and only now I'm thinking of the problems. + location of the shoot depends on the car character and how far do I need to travel.

What about getting a few local members and doing a group shoot with a selection of cars?

the problem with the group shoot is that it's hard to be original if there is a lot of different cars. for example - land rover and lotus are kinda different so IMHO it would be wierd to make pictures of them side by side. I hope it makes sense.

if I'm going for the group shoot, I guess the majority. for example - sporty cars. should I relocate this topic to PH yorkshire ? just I don't know how this forum works, don't want to be in everybodies eyes the first day I post !

There have been a couple of long running threads in regional forums on this exact topic, so I can't see why you would have a problem. Personally I think this thread should be in the yorks forum rather than here, since that is your target market!
