Pubs in/near Helmesley

Looking for somewhere to have an early evening meal in the Helmesley area.
Four adults looking for something nice eats while something to occupy an early teens brother and sister.

Any pointers on somewhere nice with a pool table or the like,

Its a few miles down the road but the Fox and Rabbit just above Pickering on the Whitby road fits both bills. Not sure if its just a snooker table though.
They also own the Horseshoe Inn at Levisham, but can't recall seeing a table there. The portions though were - huge.
New Inn at Cropton (Cropton Brewery) has both. Not eaten there for some time - other than butty stuff at the Beer Festival.
