Ehup folks,
Anyone tell me what the traffic is like ATM on the A64 around York during the morning rush hour?
I'm going to the Air museum on Tuesday morning to see their new Nimrod arrive and I'm planning my dep time to get there for around 9.30-10am.
During a normal weekend it can take aroung 45 minutes so I'm thinking a "good" hour at the least?

What do you guys think?

I guess you are coming from the Leeds end - your problems are going to be that way out - plus the last roundabout getting off the A64. But I must admit I don't do it so hopefully someone else will reply.

Re the arrival though - I am going on holiday to Forres on Saturday. What time does the plane leave that end - do you know please ? I don't see a rush hour problem for the two mile trip from our holiday cottage. Just setting the alarm clock when we should be taking advantage of sleeping in.

Thanks for the info BTW it'll certainly help (That RAB at the end is a tt 24/7 isn't it frown).

If you're going to the air museum you'll have no probs, as you turn off (A1079 Hull Road then immediately right to Elvington) before the snarl-up at the Hopgrove roundabout.

Cheers Graham. Should have a clear run then as long as the M1/A1/64 are clearish.

At about 9.57 by my watch the plane left Kinloss. Went down to York just slightly quicker than I came up here on Saturday.
