Hi all,

I am heading down for FIA GT's at Silverstone on Sunday, there's a few of the usual guys from the Sheffield Supercar Sunday meets coming along and was wondering whether anyone else wanted to join a convoy? I can't wait to see the LP670 SV race car and of course the MC12's!! When we're there we can split up and have a good nose about and then meet up again prior to the drive back?!

Those of you on my mailing list will get an email about this but please register any interest here.

Plus anyone going to Auto Italia?

Cheers
Adam

Change of plans, I think I'm going down the night before now but will be at the track all day Sunday. I had a look on the website and it's £27 on the day or £21 in advance. Let me know if you make it down. The next Supercar meet is on 30th May and we're meeting the guys from Supercardriver in Manchester and the one after that is at Raceproved in Sheffield on 13th June - more details to come but would be good if you could make it.

A most charming, if chilly day at the races. That'll serve me right for keeping the roof off on the way down. Was somewhat dismayed to see my old pal flattotheboards on the hard shoulder with a broken Vauxhall. Seriously, you need a nice reliable French hatchback, Al! Hope the alternator is sorted soon anyway, buddy.

I've got a stack of photos which I'll sort through and post if anyone's interested. Oh, and Alexander Sims in the F3 races - what a superstar. Calm and decisive in overtaking; Vettel like precision when he hit the front. Absolutely perfect display of F3 driving.

I couldnt believe the bloody thing!! A french hatchback would probably be more reliable than my VX and cost less to run, I'll swap you! Alternator will be sorted this week at some point hopefully, so I'll be on the train which ironically takes the same amount of time and is cheaper than driving shock horror!

Please post some photos up - I'd quite like to see what my brother and I missed.

Gutted mate. Still, at least it's nothing terminal. Felt very bad once I realised it was you stuck, but I'd have been as much use as chocolate fireguard with all the mechanical jiggerypokery. There are a few photos on my Facebook page - go have a squint.

No worries I wouldn't have been much fun to talk to anyway - tired and irritated. Yeah its nothing too serious or expensive thank god. I've just this minute had a look through at them - seems quite similar to last year.
