That we let the long standing family baker Ainsley's go under.
I have just been to one of there old shops for a bit of lunch, poor very poor
definitely at the same end of the market of that big name high street bakers.

Dam, used to play golf at the same club as Don (Ainsley).

Do miss their sausage rolls, don't sell them in bakers here! frown

Weren't most of their stores bought buy Country Style Foods earlier this year?
Expect mass produced stuff from now on like everywhere else!

been in trouble since new year have ainsleys and last i heard that other bakers were trying to buy there stores

is a shame though cos they did lovely ginger cakes

They are all Cooplands - but two lots - one part was taken by the ?Doncaster? company, the rest by our Scarborough lot. I believe they are linked through blood somewhere down the lines.

Saw some Ainsley accounts - they had been on borrowed time for years.
