Quick heads-up !

Harewood Hillclimb is on this weekend, both on Saturday and Sunday. Ferrari owners Club GB there on saturday amongst all the other classes.

I'll be there in car No 64 on Saturday.

Fingers crossed for some decent weather.

Can you simply turn up to watch? My parents live very close and I've always fancied popping along.

Yes. It's not free, obviously. But there's always space to park and Harewood is one of the very best hillclimbs for a spectator imo.

I'll be in attendance on Sunday. Not sure what vehicle I'll be in until the day as I'm waiting on passenger numbers. Only been to Harewood once and it was raining that time so looking forward to a dry day.

You might be in for a treat then...the forecast is crap!

I'll be there, probably saturday and sunday armed with the camera as usual

Oh bks. Well in that case I'll definitely be in the Rallye! Keep an eye open for me, Scott. I'll likely be armed with camera (but less talent) also.

You own a 306 Rallye? You utter git. I used to have a GTi-6 and I really miss it - I am tempted by a Rallye again though, if I can bring myself to owning a hatch and not a proper sports car again.

If I see it/you... do you mind if I have a poke around it?

Well, unfortunately I'm a greedy git so I have an Elise for weekend play and a black Rallye for daily use. You are abolutely welcome to have a poke around the Rallye to your heart's content, buddy. It's unmodified and done 71k so not in bad nick considering it's 11 years old now. Usual Peugeot squeeks and rattles though - it's worse than the Elise from that point of view! I'm sure your MX5 is more special, but the GTI-6 is a great hot hatch and falls nicely under the radar these days. When did you sell yours?

I'm at CITP on Sun and will get lynched if I go to Harewood on Sat. Went to the last one in April and thought it was great. Worth going down the bottom of the hill too.

Word on the street (well, from my Mum's chappy) is that a couple of Ferrari drivers managed to bend their cars on Saturday after falling off?

Good job it wasn't a championship day too, he didn't do too well by the sounds of it hehe

A couple of the Ferraris did go off on saturday, but none looked majorly serious!

ONe 355 (black) ended up hitting the litter before farmhouse pretty hard, a 308 GTB4 binned before country, not sure if there was any damage, but kept running and one of the red 355s sounded as ropey as hell during the runs, tapping like a financially flat blind man
