'Tyres Off' Alloy Wheel Refurb - Yorkshire/Hull?

Hiya all,

Registered because I've been googling for an hour trying to find a decent 'tyres off' alloy wheel refurb place nearby.

I'm halfway between York-Hull and the alloys on my Audi TT are in a terrible state.

If anyone can throw any recommendations my way that would be great

If you're prepared to travel to Stockton Romax will do a top job for a good price in about four or five hours.

It's a bit out of your way but Steve Edwards is the best there is - he's in Halifax.
Personal service and he's a great guy, check his website for results.

Ironically after posting I have just had some work done by Steve due to dosey wife. Quoted £50 and it cost £40!!! Job is awesome!!

Yorvik Engineering Services just outside the York ring road do a fantastic job. Tyres off, weld / machine curb damage, acid strip, powder primer, powder colour (at least a dozen silvers!) and powder laquer, fit tyres / balance. Reasonable price for a very proper job!

Jorvik have done a full refinish on my M3 wheels and Works Mini wheels and I cant fault them. Tim and Russ are top guys.
