Its being held just off Junction 2 of the M180.

Might pop over as we're planning an early morning soiree into Scunny. Be good to have a look over the Sea Kings again, 20 years since I worked on them at Leconfield!

Never went to Germany, Ex Halton Appo, Finningley, Leconfield and of course MPA in my time, all of it on SAR biggrin Went to quite a few bases in the UK, but never for more than a few days.

Packed, the only thing you had to pat for was parking so loads of people just turned up for a wander I think but it was a good day.

My parents live in Ealand (opposite the lakes) and there was plenty of street space to park on in there for free if you were prepared to walk for 5 minutes!

Didn't go in as I was sunburned from the day before (!) but was exceptionally busy from 11am onwards. There was a queue a couple of miles or more long down the A18 at one point.
